Ah, the ubiquitous Orchid. Most every home has one these days. Known for their beautiful elongated stems and pure white or vibrantly colored blooms, Phalaenopsis orchids seem to be more widely available than ever before. With wallet-friendly prices, the tropical plants can be found at Home Depot and Whole Foods. So you have purchased a pretty plant for a deal, now what? The only concern, aside from keeping it alive, is how to make them the greenery appear even more stylish. Once the protective outer foil paper is removed from their exterior pot it comes in,  the plant can be re-potted in a chic vessel, upping it's overall appeal. I came across a retro inspired planter recently, one covered with tiny white spheres. Not only does the white Tozai Pompon planter channel Italian ceramics of the 1960's, it adds a bit of textural interest, all done in a subtle, monochromatic lustrous finish. If your Orchids need a new home for the winter months, the vases mini snow balls can replace those soon being made come the first snow day.
