The clean lines and smooth, highly polished surfaces of the lacquer pieces designed by Rita Konig for The Lacquer Company provide a welcome dose of color and unique shape. What began with a simply designed, vintage inspired lidded ice bucket has evolved into a collection of coffee tables, nightstands and trays.  Made in Saigon, Lowther advises getting scratches out with car wax, to keep the surface shiny and gorgeous.  Here are the star pieces from London-based designer/writer/daughter of Nina Campbell/ all around amazing gal, Rita Konig.

The newest design star, the Chapman Coffee Table, features substantial nickel legs that add a bit of sparkle when paired with the lacquer surface of the table

Teal blue is one of my favorite colors, as known to anyone that has sat on my velvet sofa. This rich shade of blue is one of the colors the single-drawer  Hudson Nightstand comes in. With two surface areas, magazines and books can feel right at home.

For a bit of dramatic Art Deco influence, the Belles Rives Coffee Table with brass base mixes curves with linear legs

My appreciation for brass knows no bounds, I would put brass corners on everything I owned if I could. Taking a simple handled black lacquer tray to a glam place, brass corners elevate this sleek piece.

A new addition, the Belles Tray now comes in a diminutive version, perfect for the top of a dresser or console in an entryway. Bright as day Citron Yellow is pretty fun too.

This shade of mint is pure heaven. Making a streamlined addition to any bar, the Lidded Ice Bucket looks so good I would put it center stage on mine.
