Arranged by design style, the 2017 AD 100 list has just come out.  Breaking down the list by particular decor mastery, the spotlight on these designers and their expertise shines bright.  The architects are arranged by the avante-garde, classicists and modernists; the interior designers by American Beauties, The Connoisseurs, British Invasion, French Connection, The New Traditionalists, The Daredevils, The Young Guns, The Hitmakers and Color Geniuses.  A new list, The Hall of Fame, celebrates the masters of design and includes Mario Buatta, Thierry Despont, Mica Ertegun, Jacques Granges, Hugh Newell Jacobsen, Peter Marino, Richard Meier, Robert A.M. Stern, Axel Vervoordt and Bunny Wiliams. There is so much great new talent in the design world. I'd love to see who they deem their "One's to Watch." Perhaps next year.  Congratulations to this esteemed group for setting the bar high and doing astoundingly beautiful work:
