Truth be told I'm not a big fan of tie dyed anything, but when I saw this beautiful pillow made with Raoul Textiles from Avosetta Home, my friends Mila Daraz and Elissa Garret's new pillow line, I was sold

Woven in Chiapas, Mexico, using traditional weaving techniques, Alison Joy Jones's launched a robust pillow collection called Alegria Home at NY NOW. Featuring on-trend colors and patterns, her designs update this craft to take it into the modern day.  I love her fresh palette and unique embroidery detailing.

When my friends Jason Oliver Nixon and John Loecke launched their Madcap Cottage Collection with HSN, I knew color would be its calling card. This duo, who enjoy classic old-school decorating, filled with spirited patterns and floral prints, deliver on their signature look, with a zingy assortment of bedding and soft goods to brighten the day. As they say, "It's not beige, or boring."

Discovering the genius Brit boy-wonder and Central Saint Martins grad Luke Edward Hall, I am taken with his style. As part of the decorating department at British architect Ben Pentreath's office, his beautiful embroidered linen pillows, featuring classical motifs paired with contrasting colors, can be found in the eclectic Bloomsbury shop, Pentreath and Hall, and they ship to the US.

If you have outspoken upholstery fabric, try adding a pair of pillows with a toned-down vibe. Another new addition to the pillow category, Priscilla and Parker work with neutral linens enlivened with graphic embroidery and applique details inspired by urban and country motifs.
