BRIT IMPORT ANYA HINDMARCH COMES TO BERGDORF GOODMAN'S HOME FLOOR

Fall in New York City brings many exciting things. One of those worth highlighting  is the arrival of British handbag and accessories designer Anya Hindmarch, to Bergdorf's just opened in-store boutique on the home floor of Bergdorf Goodman. Yes, you can find her entire collection up the street at her eponymous 3-floor store on Madison and 68th street, but having her most giftable things on site at BG is a great idea. Her minimal chic, beautifully designed pieces have been keeping me coming back since 1996. The Italian leathers she uses seem to look good forever, and I have her wallets in heavy rotation. If you happen to find yourself at the intersection of 57th Street and 5th Avenue, drop in to get a gift on the go.

Distracted from their nut gathering duties, attentive squirrels usher in the arrival of colorful leather accessories

Decisions, decisions...

Head to BG's 7th floor to get your monogram in their exclusive vibrant color, fuchsia

Plenty of zip around Keepsake Boxes (perfect for traveling with jewelry), journals and serious jewelry boxes on offer, in clear, primary colors and subdued neutrals. There are certain designs Hindmarch recolors each season, so if you have a favorite classic item, chances are it will reappear in a new variation the following season.

Another BG exclusive is the clementine leather jewelry box. Gotta love the fierce orange.

I'm pretty taken with the newest leather- this magical shimmery gold color.
