Summer is the time to get out and travel. If a full-on cross country road trip is not in the cards, then why not get on the road for local jaunts to interesting new places and old favorites? Keep the memories alive with Power and Light's US Map, done in vibrantly colored letterpress. Or, select your favorite destinations and memorialize your trip with tourist magnet-inspired state posters. Here are some of the places I've been so far, I hope to add a few more before summer's end.

Sailing! Paddle boarding! Rhode Island's coast is covered with white sand beaches

Overpriced restaurants! Overpriced summer rentals! Gorgeous wide beaches and potato fields out East make it all worth it though.

This state is the epitome of summer. Ferry out to The Gray Lady and The Vineyard.

Hmm, not much to get excited about on this map tourist-wise, the pristine Merritt Parkway and preppy stone walls were somehow omitted.

Not much background needed here- CA means surf-able coastline, sailing, mountains, palm trees and general chillness
