April 2017 will bring two notable interior designer collections to High Point Market from East coast and West coast design talents with traditional style, New York based Jeffrey Bilhuber and LA based David Phoenix. Both of these designers understand the importance of scale and proportion, and design rooms that reflect a deep appreciation for the past with comfortable elegance. Two launches to look forward to come spring.
LA based interior designer David Phoenix brings his refined classicism with haberdashery details to a designer collection with Hickory Chair. Joining fellow interior designers Mariette Himes Gomez, Alexa Hampton, Suzanne Kasler and Susan Hable, the assortment will include furnishings for the living room, dining room, and bedroom, as well as decorative accessories, lighting and accent pieces. His interiors are known for their luxurious materials and tailored proportions in a classic, traditional vein. A fabric collection with Kravet is upcoming in 2018.
Launching on the heels of the Mark D. Sikes collection, New York based designer Jeffrey Bilhuber brings his American style to Henredon. A unique colorist who designs comfortable, elegant spaces, Bilhuber has an appreciation for time honored American classics and mixes historical periods with a deft hand. His offerings for Henredon will include upholstered furniture, case goods, decorative lighting and accessories. If anyone knows his way around a slipper chair it is Bilhuber-- he could do an entire collection of diminutive chairs and I would be thrilled.
