This week, I head to LA for La Cienega Design Quarter's Legends of La Cienega, one of the best design events of the spring season. Filled with panel conversations, product debuts and launch events, this year's Legends 2015 theme is Where Muses Dwell. I hope you will join me for my Keynote Panel at the chic Claremont Showroom at 723 N. La Cienega Boulevard Friday May 8th from 3:30-4:30 pm:
Chasing The Muse: For artists and interior designers, inspiration can stem from a singular original creative vision, a muse. Picasso famously had his, but does the muse still exist today? Joined by designers Hutton Wilkinson, Celerie Kemble and Schuyler Samperton, the panel will be a lively discussion about where muses dwell and if they still have the potent lure to ignite the creative fire. Have historical movements and styles supplanted the muse or does he or she still influence the creative process?
I look forward to seeing you in the charming courtyard behind Claremont and talking about inspiration with this amazing group of design personalities. Follow me on Instagram at @stylebeatblog to catch #LCDQLA coverage.
